Collar Size
Dog Collar & Lead set. Handmade by Bowzos in Edinburgh with thought, love and attention to detail. Made from Harris Tweed fabric in beautiful shades of blue in a herringbone design and backed with strong yet soft webbing to give you the unique style you love with the durability your dog needs.
Named Luskentyre after one of the beaches on the Isle of Harris: "Few people expect to find a beach like Luskentyre on the remote western side of the Isle of Harris. When the sun is shining and the tide is out the beach here is one of the most beautiful sights you will find anywhere; the water colour lies somewhere between aquamarine and turquoise, and the sand is the kind of silvery-white you would expect to find in the tropics."
 
This collar and lead set is beautifully handmade for your special little furry friend and can be worn on any occasion but we think they'd look fabulous at weddings, special occasions & most importantly- whenever there is a camera around!

Care Instructions
As much as we know you great your pup will look and feel in their Harris Tweed collar, we recommend that to keep it looking nice you keep these collars away from the beach & mud where possible and if they do need a wee wash clean them by hand, or in a 30 degrees wool wash and lay flat to dry

Easy to use website with quick delivery. Both lead and collar are well made and the design is just what we've been looking for. The teal colour really suits our black and white sprocker.

Beautiful sets. The standard is very high indeed.

I bought a Black Watch Tartan in medium set. Very prompt delivery and lovely presentation, which means a lot. The care instructions said to 'keep away from the beach and mud'. By the beach they mean sand and sea water. What was not said was what would happen to the collar if it was in contact with the sea and sand.I assumed the sea salt and sand would be an abrasive on the fabric. Which makes sense. I have now found out what happens!!!! Sand has gotten into the clasp on the collar and will not come out at all. I tried to flush out the sand in the clasp, but no. It won't budge. Luckily the collar had excess , I had to extend the collar to get it off over my dogs head. I don't know if the sand will ever come out, so it is very inconvenient to have to extend and shorten the collar every time he wears it. Would it be possible to have a new one? And maybe put a very detailed explanation on the care instructions to highlight what does happen when you enjoy a beach walk. I saw someone elses' review which suggested, that the lead be double sided in the lovely tartan.That would be great,I think. The tartan definitely needs to be shown off with pride. Many thanks.
